PREFUND, CANCELLATION, PROGRAM CHANGE AND RESCHEDULING POLICY
(Applicable to the Coincent 3-Year Program)
PURPOSE: This policy governs all refund, cancellation, and rescheduling matters for
Coincent’s 3-Year Program and ensures clarity and transparency for all enrolled students.
SCOPE: This policy applies to all participants of the Coincent 3-Year Program including
enrolled students, registrants, and any administrative processes related to refunds or program changes.
A. Refund Policy – Coincent 3-Year Program
- Once the program has started, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, regardless of the
reason.
- This applies to all program components including industrial training, mentorship, capstone projects, and
placement support.
- Registration charges (20% of program fee or ₹1,000 + GST, whichever is higher) are non-refundable at any
point in time.
B. Batch Change Policy
- If a student wishes to change their batch, a request must be raised within 24 hours of registration but
before the program begins.
- Batch change is subject to seat availability and will only be approved once.
- A batch change fee of ₹500 is applicable and must be paid within 3 business days of approval.
C. Domain Change Policy
- Domain changes are not permitted once the program has begun.
- Students are expected to choose their domain carefully at the time of enrollment.
- If a student wishes to change their domain, a request must be raised within 24 hours of registration but
before the program begins.
D. Program Cancellation
- In rare events such as Coincent canceling the entire 3-Year Program, a 100% refund will be issued to
enrolled students.
- However, Coincent is not liable for any indirect costs such as travel, accommodation, or personal
losses.
- Coincent reserves the right to cancel any session or change the location of the session due to reasons
including instructor unavailability, insufficient participants, or force majeure events (e.g.,
earthquakes, fire, flood, riots, curfew, bandh, protest, strike, civil unrest, etc.).
- Please note our cancellation policy is governed by the following:
- If Coincent cancels a workshop, seminar, or conference, a 100% refund will be paid to the
participants.
E. Program Rescheduling
- 1. Rescheduling by Coincent:
- If a program does not start within 15 business days of the published commencement date, students
can choose to:
- Receive a full refund
- Join the next available batch or domain (subject to availability)
- 2. Rescheduling Request by Student:
- Must be raised at least 7 business days before the program start date
- Rescheduling is allowed only once and is subject to availability
- A rescheduling fee of ₹500 is applicable
- Process:
- Submit a written request to support@coincent.in
- Fill and submit the “Program Rescheduling Form”
- Pay rescheduling fee + cost difference (if switching to a higher-priced batch)
F. How Refunds Are Processed (If Applicable)
- Refunds (only if eligible under Coincent cancellation) will be processed within 7–10 business days to
the original payment source.
- No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
